Prospective Students

Why RWUSOL BLSA?

RWUSOL BLSA is here for three reasons: (1) to provide our members with the support system they may need; (2) build a community and safe place for our Black and Brown students on campus; and (3) to be advocates of change within our community, our law school, and the legal field. Our chapter works to provide its members with legal opportunities that will help to build them into fearless advocates, unafraid of taking on any challenge they may face.

Law school is far from an easy process. When you add the issues of feeling alone, singled out, or misunderstood the journey becomes harder. Our chapter does not deny the struggles our members may have to face as students of color. Instead, we work to help our members understand how to handle struggles and tackle them head on.

We lead by the motto, "We are stronger together than we are apart."

We work as a community, we move as a community, and we build as a community.There is an understanding that we will respect one another and we will help to uplift one another in any way possible.

As an RWUSOL BLSA member, our team will work hard to ensure you graduate not just as a law student, but as a confident, fearless, and undeniably talented future Black Attorney.
